Welcome to the image / photo gallery section or Steven Mapes .com. Its very much a basic dumping ground of images that have either been taken by myself or, and more likely to be the case, by my twin brother David Mapes from various holidays that we have been on together including America, Egypt, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Japan, places that interest us such as Natural History Museums, Zoos, aquariums, collectors / hobby fairs or of various items that we own / collect that do not fit onto one of our other dedicated websites.
Like everything else on this website unless otherwise states all photographs are owned by us and are not for republication on other websites under any circumstances unless authorised by ourselves in writing.

We stayed in Burnham-on-sea for a week between the 27th June 2009 and the 4th July 2009.
On the 8th day of the Journey we return home to London and complete the almost 2000 mile round trip.
The 7th day of our trip and the photos are getting less as we leave Scotland and hit the rain just above Middlesborough
Day 6 and we headed from Inverness to Dundee via Stonehaven.
Things headed South on the 4th day of the Motorcycle trip, but only in terms of the compass direction.
Day 4 ands the clouds came in, but we covered the very top of Scotland including Cape Wrath, Tongue and John O Groats
Day 3 of the Round Scotland Mapes Motorcycle trip saw us ride from Fort William up to Ullapool.
Day 2 of the Scotland trip saw us ride from Port Patrick in the South West of Scotland to the mid-west and Fort William
On the 30th May 2009 myself, my brother David and our father headed off on a Scotland motorcycle tour covering 2k miles

In 2007 I spent a week in Croyde Bay with my then girlfriend Sarah.
After attending Botcon 2007 we stopped off in New York for a few days with Gareth and James
