London Film and Comic Con - July 2009

The London Film and Comic con took place on on the 18th and 19th July 2009 at Earls Court 2 London. I went along to the event with my brother Dave and friends Gareth and Brian. Originally I wanted to attend the event to get Mark Ryan's signature on a press pack I received at a screening of the first live action Transformers Movie. Only after spenidng the morning trying to hunt down where it was, I then found it only to see he had already signed it! This is what happens when you get other people to take it to signings, you forget who's signed things. Still I went along anyway hoping to pick up the Death Note slimline DVD boxsets and some other merchandise and ended up coming away with Volume 2.

There was suppose to be a Terminator 4 prop display at the event which we all were looking out for when Gaz suddenly stopped (the rest of us walked straight by). Yes he had found it ... well all four things in a small case .... lame!

Still was a fun couple of hours and better than the previous years events, especially when we walked past the massive queue to the main stage area not really knowing where we were going, then walked past everyone and out the otherside only to realise that you shouldn't really go around that way. Still no one said anything lol.
